Produce Updates

Rockmelons are in good supply, peaches and nectarines and plums are very good quality, best of the season so far. Mangoes, cherries and apricots are about to come to the end of season. Avocadoes are still very short in supply and high in price. This should improve over the next two weeks. New season lemons have arrived at the markets and we are about 2 weeks away for new season apples and pears. Unfortunately, herbs are very short due to the heat. Grapes have improved in supply and prices are starting to ease.
Most vegetable lines have been affected by the big heat wave all over the east coast, supply is very short and prices tend to be high. Market can be tough this time of year and we are doing our best to buy the best products available. Improvements will come over the next few months.
Please ensure that at the beginning of the week you get your orders in for specialty produce, as we can’t guarantee supply later in the week.
